Finding elements using parent-child relationship

In most cases, Test Studio's find logic will work perfectly in finding target elements by providing Unique Elements Id's, class etc. But for some controls or mainly when you have to find a control which appears twice on the page with same elements, then it is difficult to find with Test Studio's default find logic.

Now let us see how to solve this using TTS Find Logic Expression

1. Select the target element in the Elements Explorer and select Edit in Live from the Context Menu.

               

 This will open the Find Element Menu.

               

2. Change the Find Logic with Parent child fashion similar to Dom Structure either by editing it manually or by choosing it from suggestions as shown below.

               

3. Validate it again and save it.
